The Timber 26 offers it all - a high-performance 'new school' 26-inch frame geometry, lightweight components, and a choice of 6 cool color options.
We often see young riders making the leap to XS or S-sized 27.5 or 29-inch wheels, which are often too large for their stature. That's where the 2025 Timber 26 LTD comes in - it's meticulously engineered as the ideal 'tweener' bike for those who are too big for a 24" bike but too small for an adult-sized one.
Our Timber 26 LTD model receives the Trailcraft Cycles 'New School Geometry Treatment,' incorporating a super-short yet stable 419mm chainstay. The lowered front end and standover height empower young riders to maneuver over obstacles effortlessly, akin to a mini dirt jumper. This agile bike facilitates quick line changes, manuals, and wheelies, even on challenging terrain. The result is an exceptionally lightweight and enjoyable riding experience that propels young riders to new heights in their cycling journey, equipped with category-leading components.

We import frames from Taiwan (unassembled) and assemble each bike to order in Fort Collins, Colorado, using US labor. Unlike many others who import complete bikes, we maintain rigorous quality control by assembling everything from the headset and bottom bracket to the derailleur hanger right here in the US. You can proudly tell your kids that their bike is unique and truly built to order from the frame up!

This is a sweet bike! It’s very light, confidence inspiring and comes with great components out of the box. The fork is great and actually works really good for lighter riders. My child is on a school mtb team and this bike made a huge difference in there performance for xc/trail riding. The bikes geo is spot on for kids. I’m glad I went with the 26″, it fits perfectly and my child can control the bike easily. Also, the customer service is amazing. I had a couple questions that I sent via email, and instead of expecting an email response in a day or two, they actually called me back the same day! I looked at every bike out there for kids, and this is the best 26″ hardtail mtb IMO.
